TOBB ETU Takes Place in The Event With Technology Transfer Office

TOBB ETU, established in 2003 and providing education at international level, took its place at the R&D Collaboration Summit and Exhibition. R&D Collaboration Summit and Fair to be held in cooperation with TÜBİTAK and the Higher Education Council (YÖK) under the auspices of the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology will take place between 3-5 May 2017 at the Istanbul Pullman Congress and Exhibition Center.
R&D Collaboration Summit and Fair, which will take place on the axis of Turkey’s R & D activities and cooperation, will bring together all the actors involved in the R & D system in the same space. TOBB ETÜ, which was established with the aim of contributing to science and technology with scientific researches and applications and providing information to the country and humanity and educating qualified graduates, will be active with the Technology Transfer Office where R & D activities are carried out.
The establishment of strategic partnerships with the protection of appropriate intellectual property rights in the process of presenting product in the bazaar by transforming the information that emerges as a result of the R & D activities carried out by TOBB ETU, encouraging entrepreneurship in the transformation of the produced information into product and trade values and being a pioneer in this issue, To carry out activities such as such as producing solutions to the needs and problems of the industrialists, presenting the information and technology inventory that the university has and developing different models are under the responsibility of TOBB ETU Technology Transfer Office.
One of the biggest differences that distinguish TOBB ETU from other universities in Turkey is to educate individuals with work experience when they graduate thanks to the joint training program. TOBB ETÜ has become one of the top 5 universities preferred by students in the first period when students started to receive.
In the 2016-2017, World University Ranking, which London-based higher education rating agency Times Higher Education (THE) explained and consisted of 980 universities from 19 countries, the TOBB ETU has managed to be seventh among the 18 Turkish universities in the sequence.
TOBB ETU, which was established in 2003 and accepted its first students in 2004, also won the title of being the youngest Turkish university that entered the World University Ranking of THE of 2016-2017.
